I remember...

as if it were only yesterday, and not nearly two years ago, when I created this page...mainly to see the blogs of my friends, but I think I had other intentions for it as well.

And here it has sat, quietly and patiently, rewarded at last with my return and a new post!

In the past two years there have been quite a few changes with me.

I gave up my apartment, had a cancer scare, had a pancreas scare, met some new friends, and lost a few as well, both to time, and choice...

My daughter is now eight years old, and I am forty one...

Same job though, and I think I've gotten pretty good at it...at least, I don't have a many questions as I used to.

But mostly it is still the same, not enough time, except in airports, of which I always seem to have too much.

I'll try and make this a more recurring place to visit...kind of like it here.

Stranger in a Strange

Land...

Being in an unfamiliar city is no big deal for me anymore. I've gotten over finding my way around, discovering new stores, going to movies and dinner alone and wandering through neighborhoods, checking out the area.

But being in a strange place over a holiday weekend, adds a whole new level of oddness...

Memorial Day in a place of small towns, fervent neighborhood identity and a history of patriotic oneupmanship should be interesting. Sadly the Red Sox are away for the weekend...

I don't really

have much to say here...this is mostly just so I can enjoy other people's blogs.
